Spurs Ladies
have appointed a new First Team Manager in Karen Hills. Karen is Girls
and Women’s Development Officer at Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, an
ex-Charlton Ladies player and FA Cup medal winner; her knowledge and
experience of the game and strong motivational skills make her a very
valuable asset to the Team.
Manager, Karen Hills, said “These are
exciting times for Spurs Ladies as we put together a new and young side
to compete in what looks like being a tough league this season. I am
delighted with the new signings - all three are very strong players,
with experience of competing at a high level. They will be an integral
part to the team as well as acting as positive role models to the
younger players, some of whom have been with the Club since under-10s.
Spurs Ladies
are also pleased to announce three new player signings for this season:
Ebony Cabey-Gooden, ex-Charlton Ladies goalkeeper, along with Emma
Kayser and Jenna Schillaci, both from Enfield Ladies.

On learning of her appointment to the First Team, Ebony
said:
"When Hillsy called and told me about her plans for the
Club, I was more than happy to take up the offer of coming to play for
her. I was kindly offered the captaincy role for this season and it is
one which I was proud to accept. This will be a new experience for me
but one that I am really looking forward to.
"We have all worked really hard during pre-season and
there is a great atmosphere and team togetherness. If we keep this
going it will stand us in good stead for what will be a tough season for
us. We know it won't be easy and things don't happen overnight but we
are all eager to push the Club forward and are working hard to achieve
positive results."
Karen added:
"Pre-season has been a challenging time but all the girls have
approached the training with a great attitude and have worked extremely
hard on their fitness which has been pleasing to see.
"This season will be a good test for the
young Spurs Ladies team but it is one we are all looking forward to and
relishing the challenge ahead."
