Black
History Month at Oakthorpe School - 04.10.2004
Manager
Jackie Fearon was invited to speak about her role to Oakthorpe Primary
School today, as part of Black History Month. Accompanied by Dom
Clarke and Samrawit Bereket from the first team, Jackie explained her
experiences through her career and spelled out how young sports stars
can go about preparing to make a go of their future.
The
school had done a lot of work on black sporting stars of the past and
present and it is hoped some of them might become sporting stars of the
future.
A
question and answer session was held and some items were donated to the
school for distribution amongst the children.
Tottenham
Hotspur Ladies FC would like to thank Mr. Price (Head Teacher) for
inviting the Ladies to attend and speak to the school.
Tottenham Hotspur Ladies
manager Jackie Fearon chats with Oakthorpe School Head
