Damage Control plc boost THLFC

Tottenham Hotspur Ladies FC are pleased to announce a major sponsorship deal from Damage Control plc.

The North London Property Services company have very generously offered £5,000 to sponsor the club which will allow more to be done for the development of the Women's and girl's game in Haringey and Enfield. Managing Director of Damage Control plc, Paul Benson is a Centenary Member at Tottenham Hotspur and has a great supporter of Tottenham Hotspur Ladies FC, so the club are very grateful for his contribution to their activities.

In addition to the money provided by Damage Control, the funding is matched, pound for pound, by SportsMatch, who will add £5,000 to the funding following a bid by the club which recognises the efforts being made to improve the profile and accessibility of the game amongst girls in the local community.

This is a major boost for the club and the money will be used to provide :-

          120 Hours of outdoor Astroturf training facilities
           80 Hours of coaching mentoring
           5 FA Coaching Courses
           Kit & Equipment
           Sponsorship of Haringey Primary School Girls Football Tournament
           2 days of Girls Only Football training days with the Spurs Football in the Community Scheme
           Promotional material

Tottenham Hotspur LFC Chairman Glenn Weaver said, “This is a major sponsorship for the Ladies section and will secure our development plans for the coming year. Our aim is National League Football and this sponsorship deal will allow us have to improve our existing training facilities and continue the development of our coaching staff. To receive the sponsorship from Paul Benson (Damage Control PLC) is extremely pleasing knowing his passion for Tottenham Hotspur FC”.

The sponsorship is initially for one year, but can be extended for a second or third year, in which case, the Sportsmatch will be £2,250 for year 2 and £1,250 for year 3, should the deal go that far.
