Greater London Regional Women's League Cup - Semi-Final
Arsenal Reserves took an early lead in this match, but Tottenham hit back when Gill Blackmore knocked in Denise Selby's cross to make it 1-1 after 23 minutes.  Before the interval, Arsenal restored their lead, but little striker Danni Hoy pulled things back level just after the break.

With ten minutes remaining, Hoy got her second of the match to give Spurs the lead for the first time and just when it looked as though Tottenham would reach the final, a defensive mix-up allowed Arsenal to nick a last gasp equaliser.

Striker Sharon Wedderburn hit a shot home late into the second period of extra time, but again Arsenal came back with a late, late equaliser to take the tie to penalties.

It is never a nice way to settle a cup tie, but Tottenham's nerve held better and Jackie Wright, Sharon Wedderburn and Gill Blackmore converted their spot-kicks to take Spurs through to face Dulwich Hamlet in the final on April 14th.

Back to league action and two well-taken goals from Jackie Fearon calmed any nerves there might have been to set the tone for the side's comfortable win.  Danni Hoy and Hannah Rushforth netted the other two goals that helped move Tottenham up the table.

Greater London Regional Women's League Cup Final
A convincing win over fellow Premier Division side Dulwich Hamlet gave Tottenham Hotspur Ladies the League Cup for the first time in their history.

Centre half Lisa Amasanti kick-started the trophy win with a headed goal in six minutes from Lorraine Knight's left-wing corner.  In the 13th minute, Hannah Rushforth saw her shot saved by the Hamlet keeper, but was alert to the rebound and smashed it home to make it 2-0 to Tottenham.

Dulwich went further behind just two minutes later, when a defender knocked the ball into her own net, but the South London side recovered to get a goal back just before the half-time whistle.

The second half was a much tighter affair and there was no further score, allowing Captain Jackie Wright to lift the League Cup trophy at the end of the game.

Having finished as runners up to Arsenal Reserves in the League, Spurs were given a place
in the Play-Off semi-final as Arsenal already have their first team in the Premier League
and could not field two sides there.

Premier League Play-Off Final
Disappointment for Tottenham Hotspur as they failed to reach the Premier League in controversial style.

Already 0-2 down at the break, goalkeeper Debbie Fleming was dismissed just after the re-start for a professional foul.  Goldhawk converted the penalty and then went on to ease past the ten players of Spurs to take their place in the Southern Division of the Premier League.
