First Team Manager Wanted
Tottenham Hotspur
Ladies Football Club, currently in the FA Women’s
South East Combination, is looking to appoint a
First Team Manager/Coach to continue the club’s
ongoing development.
Based in North London
and currently the largest women’s setup in the
London FA area, this challenging position is an
exciting opportunity to recruit, coach and manage a
squad of developing players in preparation for the
2009/10 season at Level 3 of the National Game.
The successful
applicant will have both management and coaching
experience, ideally within the women’s game, but as
a minimum a good working knowledge of women’s
football in this country.
Applicants must hold a minimum of the FA Level 3
qualification, or preferably the UEFA B, and have
the ability to co-ordinate a small Senior management
team.
Although this is an expenses-only position with no
formal salary, this really is an exciting
opportunity for a dynamic manager/coach to challenge
themselves against other sides in the South East of
England.
Applications are invited in the form of covering
letter and full CV in the first instance, to be
followed by interviews in due course.
Please send your application by email to:
Email:
thlfc@hotmail.com.
Closing date for
applications is Friday 12th June 2009.
Interviews to be held
the week commencing: Monday 15th June
2009.

Pat Staunton
It is with deep sadness that news reaches me that Pat
Staunton died suddenly yesterday following a severe asthma
attack.
Whilst at the main club, Pat had been a key supporter of
Spurs Ladies over the years and many of the club's staff and
players had their Level 1 Coaching sessions with him.
Pat was 45 years old with a young family and had only
recently moved to a role with the Middlesex FA.
Our thoughts are with his wife and family at this extremely
sad time.

Training -
Thursday 9th April and U15 game against touring USA side
Training for the U10 Whites & Blues, U12, U13 and U16 will
be cancelled on Thursday 9th April 2009 at New River
(Thursday before Easter weekend).
The Under 15s will be playing a team from the USA with a
19:15 Kick Off.
As most of you have probably seen the U15s have had a number
of games called off, so it gives them the opportunity
another fixture.
Fixtures against Peterborough - Thursday
16th April 2009
On the Thursday after Easter (16th), I have set up four
friendly fixtures in the afternoon (starting from 13:30)
against Peterborough United at Fred Knights for the Under
10s/12s /14s/16s.
I know that some people may be away and we may need some
juggling of resources by team ..
Respective managers for the teams are:-
U10 Mark Fairs
U12 Glenn Weaver
U14 Gerry McLucas
U16 Dave Shepherd
Please can you confirm availability within those age groups
and, if required, I would hope that the odd age group teams
can help out ... It's a good experience playing teams outside
our league.
If any
of the coaches have any problems with these fixtures, please let Glenn know. |
