The Wear It Pink training night raised £130.00 for Cancer Research, but the teams that did not take part last night haven't missed out in taking part.  If they want to dress up in as much pink as possible in their training sessions next week to try and raise more, then feel free !!  We will also be collecting at the week-end home games. So, give generously to raise the amount THLFC can give to this charity.

The Under-15s Blues home game against Hemel Hempstead U15 in the HCGFL was postponed and they were awarded the points.

Carly Mackey has been appointed as captain of the Under-12 Whites and manager Peter Maynard wishes her all the best for the season.

A petition to get more Government funding into women's football has been set up online and at http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Sportswomen/ and the people setting it up would like as many signatures as possible.  Feel free to put your name to the petition if you feel strongly about the matter.

The senior side's opponents in the Second Round of the London County Cup will be Kent Magpies, who they will meet on 21st October at Fred Knights.

The Reserves travelled to Dagenham and Redbridge for their London County Cup First Round tie an d progressed with a 3-0 victory.  Click here for a match report.  The Reserves will now face Hackney on 21st October at Fred Knights in the Second Round.

Also, the match photo pages now contain a scrolling gallery of shots from the match at the top of the page.  This is best viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer and the photos can be viewed by scrolling left or right using the arrows at the side of the thumbnail photographs at the top of the page.  We hope this makes the site easier to use for you.

The next THLFC Committee Meeting will take place on Wednesday 10th October.  The meeting will commence sharply at 7.45 p.m. at Frederick Knights Sports Ground.
17.09.2007 For those travelling to the Under-15 Whites game at Harvesters on Sunday 23rd September, please note the game will take place on Pitch 7.

Also, please note that you cannot park next to any of the clubhouses or the Rugby Club property.  Follow the arrows to car parking for Harvesters visitors situated at the rear of the all-weather pitch.
Harvesters do not tolerate abusive behaviour from parents or players and will report any incidents to the HCGFL.
Their ground is also a dog free zone, so please do not bring pets with you to the game.

The First Team will face Acton Sports Club in the Second Qualifying Round of the WFA Cup away on Sunday 30th September.

A 6-2 victory for the Reserves in the League Cup over Bushey Rangers saw their competitive programme get underway.  Click here for a match report.

The Under-15 Whites met the Under-14s in  a warm-up game and it ended in a 2-2 draw.  The Under-15 Whites goals were scored by Jodie Fenn and Andrea Edobor.  Click here for a Under-14s match report.

A pre-season friendly for the Under-16s saw them beat Lea Valley United U16 18-0.  Click here for a match report.

The Under-12 Blues took on Lea Valley United U13 and won 6-3 with a Louisa Fox hat-trick and further goals from Chloe Smith, Phoebe Guiver and Jemma McCarthy.

The Under-10s took part in the THLFC U11 tournament and ended the day winning the Plate competition, beating Enfield Town U11 in the semi-final and West Ham United U11 in the final, both times on penalties after playing out 0-0 draws.

02.09.2007 There were a series of pre-season friendlies today as the season draws near.

The First Team played a Southend United XI at Fred Knights and own 2-0, thanks to goals from Vicci Pritchard and Jessie Richards.

The Reserves played out a 3-3 draw with the Under-16s, with goals for the Reserves from Laura Allen and Sarah Mair (2), while two goals from Under-16s Alex Small and one from Becky Shephard levelled the scores.  For an U16 match report, click here.

Our Under-14s played Southend United U14s in a home friendly winning 4-0 with goals from Renata Inniss (2), Whitney Tango and Ayse Mustafa.

The Under-13s travelled to South London to meet Crystal Palace U13 in a friendly.

Southend United U12/U13s travelled up to Tottenham to meet our U12 Blues and there was a 3-2 win for Tottenham.

Senrab were the opponents for the Under-11 Whites at Fred Knights and Tottenham won 5-1.

The Under-11 Blues played Redbridge Raiders U11s at home winning 5-2.

The Under-10s played Lea Valley Ramblers U10 at Fred Knights in a friendly.

26.08.2007 A series of friendlies took place today with a combined U11 Blues / U12 Whites 9-a-side team beating Redbridge Raiders 1-0, while our U10s beat Crystal Palace U10s 4-0 and the U12 Blues team saw off Crystal Palace U12s in a  5-0 win.
20.08.2007 The club has arranged a series of pre-season friendlies with Crystal Palace LFC.

These will be played at the Langley Park sports and Social Club, 2 Hawksbrook Lane off South Eden Park Road, Beckenham BR33 SR with all games kicking off at 14:00.

The Under 10s and Under 12 Blues will travel to South London on Sunday 26th August and on Sunday 2nd September, the Under 13s and Under 15s will make the same journey to face the Palace girls.

The First Team drew 1-1 in a friendly with Corby Ladies with Jade Perrin scoring the Tottenham goal.

The Reserves beat Runwell Town 4-0 with goals from Vicci Pritchard, Chanel Breen, Natalie Arbuckle and  in a friendly match.

12.08.2007 The First Team beat Brentwood Town Ladies 4-0 in a pre-season friendly at Fred Knights today.

The Reserves were also successful in a warm-up game, with a 6-0 win over Regents Park Rangers.

08.08.2007 The Under-11 Blues have a home (Fredrick Knights) pre-season friendly arranged for Sunday 02.09.07 with a kick off at 10.30am against Senrab Ladies Under 11s.

Kick off is at 12 noon  at The Vauxhall Ground, Luton.
This match will be played on a second generation astro pitch, so you must wear Trainers or Astro boots only. Kit TBA.  Please be there for 11.30.

The Reserves lost 1-5 to Panthers FC in a pre-season friendly at Fred Knights.

The First team friendly due to be played against North London Dynamo FC was postponed.

03.08.2007 The First Team have been drawn away in the First Qualifying Round of the Women's FA Cup sponsored by E-on, which will kick off at 14.00 on Sunday 16th September 2007.

This has led to some fixtures being re-arranged.  Check out the amended fixture list by clicking here.

31.07.2007 The first batch of Reserve fixtures have been announced and can be found by clicking here.
30.07.2007 The London Cup draw has been made with the Reserves being drawn away to Dagenham and Redbridge in the first round on 16th September.

The second round has handed the First Team a home draw against London Women or Kent Magpies on October 21st.  Should the Reserves progress, they will be at home to Petts Wood on the same date.

The first committee meeting of 2007-08 will be on Wednesday 1st August and will be held at Frederick Knights Sports Ground in the small meeting room upstairs commencing sharp at 8.00 p.m. -  9.30 p.m.
The Under-12 Blues have arranged s further pre-season friendly against Bedford and District Under 12s on Sunday 19th August 2007.

Players must be of at least school side standard to complete the squad for the 2007-20008 season.

15.07.2007 Under 11 Blues/Under 12 Whites Pre-Season Training will start on Thursday 2nd August 2007 at Enfield Playing Fields, Donkey Lane, Enfield. This will start at 7.00 p.m. and run through to 8.30 p.m.
 
For players going on holiday please keep a watchful eye on this site for further updates regarding training / friendlies. 
The new season kicks off Saturday 8th September (Under 11) and Sunday 9th September (Under 12 ).
 
I hope to be arranging a few friendlies over the next month.

Back on 10th June, the club held a very successful 5-a-side tournament at the Powerleague 5-a-side facility at Fred Knights.  With the efforts of Dave Shephard and his team of helpers and the sponsorship of Senior Hargreaves, Prism Autobody Repairs Limited and www.extrastaff.co.uk the event was enjoyed by all.  Click here to see some photos of the day.

30.06.2007 The club had a highly successful Presentation Night with a huge turnout and the evening being split into two sections to accommodate everyone.

Guests of honour former Spurs players Ralph Coates and club patron Gary Mabbutt handed out the awards to the U10 - U13 sides and Charlton Athletic player and THFC Girls Football Development Officer Karen Hills presenting the awards to the U14s, U15s and Seniors.

Photos and a report from the night will appear in the next few days.

Additional trial match – Under 11’s – Tue 03/07/07

An additional trial match session will be held at the Tottenham Hotspur Ladies Football teams for the 2007-2008 season will take place at the White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre, White Hart Lane, Wood Green, London N22 5QW. 

Tuesday 3rd July 2007  19:00 – 21:00

 

I do expect all current players to attend both trial dates. If you cannot attend for any reason, I need to know in advance. We will run with a squad of 10 players maximum for each of the Whites and Blues squads.

and don't forget, if you want to order them prior to Saturday, you will be able to pick them up on Presentation Night.  Please place your order through the spursladies@blueyonder.co.uk e-mail as early as possible to ensure we will be able to bring them along on Saturday.

18.06.2007 The photos for all the teams from this season are now all collated and can be burned onto CD.  As the date of the presentation night has changed, Wyart and Liz will be present on the night and will be able to bring along discs ordered before the 30th June and you will be able to pay for them then.

Anyone wishing to collect their discs on the night should contact Liz on spursladies@blueyonder.co.uk to make an order and to confirm the price of the CD.

You will still be able to order your disc on the night, but this will be prepared after the event and will be posted to you, so a charge to cover postage and packing will be payable.

Additionally, photos taken on the night of the awards ceremony can be bought and thanks to Paul Newby, they will be printed out for you to take away there and then.  Further details of these photos will be available on the evening.

Here are the finalised details for this year’s Presentation Day …. On Saturday 30th June 2007

 

Both events will be held at the Tottenham Community Sports Centre, 703 High Road, N17 (Almost opposite the Tottenham Hotspur ground).

There is limited parking available onsite, but offsite parking is available around the main Spurs ground.

 

The Under 10 - Under 13 Presentations – Doors open at 4:30pm and Presentation starts promptly at 5:00pm.

 

The Under 14, Under 15’s and Seniors – Doors open at 7:00pm and Presentation starts at 7:30pm.

 

There will be no buffet this year, but there is an on-site bar separate from the main hall.
No drink is to brought into the main hall as this is a sports hall.

 

Tickets are priced at £6 ... All 8 year olds and Under are free.

 

Tickets will be available on the trials days and through your Managers from Monday 4th June 2007.
