Ladies FC Under-12s and Under-16s have received a very kind donation

Matthew is a life-long Spurs fan, who works
as a broker in Hong Kong. Matthew comes from a family with strong
footballing links. He is married to Roberta Moore, the daughter of
England's 1966 World Cup winning captain - the late Bobby Moore. His
grandfather Harold Hobbis played for Charlton Athletic as a winger and
twice represented England in 1936, scoring one goal against Belgium in
his second international. On May 6th 1936, he played for England
against Austria in Vienna in front of 60,000, but before the game he was
required to shake hands with Adolf Hitler in one of the last
international matches before World War II broke out.
Harold sits tenth in the list of all-time
goal-scorers for Charlton.
The management of THLFC would like to thank Matthew for his kind
donation and his support of Tottenham Hotspur Ladies FC.
