In a highly pulsating game, the U10 Whites came from 2-0 down at the break to secure a vital 4-2 victory over Luton Town Belles in the HCFGL on Saturday.
Hannah Fenton-Burgess and captain Emma Lee both bagged two goals apiece which leaves three teams still challenging for the title in the closing weeks of the season.
Manager Glenn Weaver said, “The turnaround in the second half showed the girls had true character against a very good Luton side." |

| Home Counties Girl's Football League U10 Cup - Semi-final | |||||

The Under 10 Whites showed true grit for the second week running in coming back a 2-0 deficit to secure the narrowest of victory in overcoming the U10 Blues 4-3 in the semi final of HCGF League Cup.
It was the Blues that came of the blocks quickest in the first half and chased and harried the Whites off their normal game and deserved their 2-0 half time lead.
However, the Whites upped their game after the break and scored four times in the opening 15 minutes through a Hannah Fenton-Burgess hat-trick and a penalty from captain Emma Lee.
Manager Glenn Weaver said, “The game was a fantastic advert for Under 10 football and especially with both the Blues and Whites contesting yet another great semi-final. Both sides have developed brilliantly over the season and it’s also great to see the also league right down to the wire.” GLENN WEAVER |

In a tight, competitive game, the Under 10 Whites continued their push for the league championship with a hard fought 2-0 win over local rivals, Enfield Town Ladies.
Although, Spurs had much of the possession, the Enfield goalkeeper was in sparkling form making a series of tremendous saves. It wasn’t until the twelfth minute that Hannah Fenton-Burgess latched onto a through ball to dispatch a shot high into the roof of the net.
Spurs started strongly in the second half but Enfield were again resilient and swift on the counter attack. It was Hannah again who added Spurs second goal mid-way through the half.
The Spurs defence were again solid throughout with Jenny Hunnable is excellent form.

Despite going into the game with only seven fit players, the Under 10 Whites were in sparkling form on Saturday notching up a 10-0 victory again Hoddesdon Owls.
Hannah Fenton-Burgess was again on target with four goals with further goals from captain Emma Lee (3), Evie Rose (1) and Natasha Smits scoring her first two goals of the season.
Hoddesdon who were 7-0 down at the break fought back bravely in the second half and were unlucky not to score themselves.
The support from the Hoddesdon parents from the first to the last minute was fantastic and a great credit to their club. GLENN WEAVER |
