Spurs came under pressure before going on to win this friendly against Denham United 2-0.

Daisy O'Sullivan made a fine save to keep Spurs from falling behind, but once the team found it's rhythm, they began to dominate the game.

Striker Charlotte Dean found the net twice to ensure Spurs won out, but Denham provided good opposition in a good natured game between the two sides.

It was an overcast day at Chells Park where Spurs Ladies faced their first league game of the season with the newly promoted Bedwell Rangers.

Five minutes into the first half, Whitney Tango powered a high shot into the right hand corner of the opposition goal and Taylor O’Leary made it 2-0 to Spurs five minutes later.

After 20 minutes of the game, Renata Inniss and Nicole Bailey substituted Nikki Hunnable and Charlotte Dean.

Spurs Ladies were had a better flow to their the game in comparison to the previous week performance at Denham.  They were caught a couple of time with the off-side trap, but always appeared to have the measure of their opponents.

The trend of playing a better second half continued, with lots of rallying for the ball in both defence and attack.  Daisy O'Sullivan was called into play a few times, but was never really put to the test by the opposition.  It wasn’t long before Whitney increased the goal tally to three with a left foot shot from just outside the penalty area.  Five minutes later Renata Inniss scored from a Bedwell clearance just outside the penalty box for number four.  Further shots from Ayse Mustafa, Nikki and Georgia Bruce were just wide of the post and over the cross-bar.

The last ten minutes of the game saw Whitney and Ayse substituted by Taylor and Charlotte.  Bedwell gave their best but just could not penetrate the Spurs defence.  From a Spurs throw-in, Hannah Lyons turned two defenders and shot wide of the goalkeeper into the right-hand side of the net.  Taylor put the icing on the cake with her second goal from inside the penalty area to extend Spurs lead to 6-0 with two minutes left until full time.

Spurs Ladies U12 welcomed the friendly match against Enfield Town which would test their stamina since they only had eleven players booked for the game.  The team was without midfield player Ayse Mustafa, goal-keeper Daisy O'Sullivan and Nicole Bailey who has now left the club.

Spurs Ladies had the first half all to themselves, but failed to hit the target on at least five occasions.  Taylor O'Leary was in goal for the first 15 minutes before Georgia Bruce took over from her in goal. By and large, Spurs Ladies were in possession 70% in comparison to Enfield Town 30%.  Nikki Hunnable did a lot of rallying on the right wing whilst Georgia made her presence felt on the left wing.  There was some good footwork and heading by Renata Inniss and Taylor, which was probably a sign of good things to come in the second half.  There were some anxious moments at the back, but Shianne St. Louis and Harley Keenlyside managed to stem the flow of the Enfield attack to which the first half ended 0-0.

In most matches, Spurs Ladies normally dominate the second half of the game but that wasn’t to be, as Enfield Town began to put Spurs Ladies to the test.  Charlotte Dean began the second half as goalkeeper before Renata took over for the last fifteen minutes.  Taylor and Hannah Lyons were busy in midfield feeding the ball through to Whitney Tango, although there were fewer chances to be had compared to the first half.

Spurs Ladies managed to forge ahead after a well taken free kick was driven home by Nikki Hunnable from outside the penalty area.  Enfield was determined to come away with at least a draw but their hopes were dashed when Renata made a good save in the last three minutes of the game.

The match referee Patrick Keown and the assistant referee was Ross Hunnable.

On a bright and sunny day, with Renata Inniss and Charlotte Dean on the bench at kick off, Spurs Ladies were looking to come away from Denham with another victory.  They did just that when Whitney Tango scored five minutes in the first half.  Taylor O’Leary made it 0-2 five minutes later despite some good defending from Denham.

Nikki Hunnable and Georgia Bruce carried on from where they left off last week with lots of rallying on the right and left wings.  This match was livelier than the friendly game previously played between the two teams, but try all they could, the Wildcats could not penetrate the Spurs defence.  Charlotte substituted Nikki and after 20 minutes of the game.  Spurs Ladies missed the target on a couple more occasions and had to settle for a two nil lead at the half time whistle.

A better second half by the Wildcats meant that Spurs Ladies had to battle for every ball both in defence and attack and Daisy O'Sullivan had a busier second half and made two important saves.  Katie Mills was busy on the right wing whilst Nikki was rested on the bench.

Spurs were alive again when Hannah increased the goal tally to three when her shot split two defenders in the penalty area.  Five minutes later Spurs were caught on the hop when the Denham striker took the ball from the halfway line on the left wing and scored the perfect goal with her right foot from an acute angle.  A consolation goal to the Wildcats in a game that Spurs Ladies could have easily doubled their score if they had been more accurate with their shots on goal.

A thrilling finale saw Tottenham Hotspur Ladies Under-12s take a point with a spirited finish against a pacy QPR side.

From the first minute, the goal was under threat when Taylor O'Leary had a shot blocked and just four minutes later, Whitney Tango latched onto a through pass to hit the ball low past the Rangers keeper.

The lead only lasted three minutes, with the visitors playing the ball into the penalty box and it was turned in from close range to make it 1-1.  Both keepers were busy, with Daisy O'Sullivan making a fine save from a QPR corner and then at the other end, the Rangers goalie rushed from her line to deny Whitney.  Then Daisy held a fierce drive at head height before the ball deflected into the path of a Rangers player in the area to give them a 21st minute lead.

Spurs almost equalised when Charlotte Dean put the ball into the net, with 23 minutes gone, but the linesman's flag had already been raised and a free-kick given for offside.  The fortune seemed to be with QPR as they went further ahead right on half-time with a break through the middle that ended up with a shot past Daisy for the score to be 1-3 at the break.

Reassembling after the interval, Spurs mounted an early attack and QPR were happy to scramble the ball off the line.  The teams battled away trying to take the advantage on the break, but when a Rangers forward did break through, Daisy O'Sullivan made an instinctive save with her feet to keep the ball out with 16 minutes gone of the second half.

Twice the Rangers keeper produced fine saves from Whitney and just when it looked like she might prevent Tottenham getting back into the match, Whitney drove through the QPR defence to hit a low shot into the net to make it 2-3 with nine minutes left.  This motivated Spurs into a final push and Taylor O'Leary drew another very good save from the goalie, but with seconds ticking away towards time, Spurs earned a free-kick 25 yards from goal.  The dead ball was played in and caused a panic, with the ball bobbling around until it fell to Ayse Mustafa on the right.  The Spurs midfielder struck a low shot across the keeper and the team erupted with joy as the ball nestled in the bottom corner of the net.

It was a fine comeback by Spurs that showed character after falling behind to a pacy QPR attack and the resulting draw should give them confidence for the remainder of the season ahead.

Spurs maintained their unbeaten record with a win over newly promoted Bushey Rangers.  The weather was slightly overcast with a cross wind over a slanted and uneven pitch.

Spurs played a patient game in the first half and carved out three goals with two being scored by Whitney Tango, with the third from Rosie Kmita - her first for the club.  Rosie displayed some good determined work on the right wing to support her forward colleagues.

In the second half Spurs found more space and started to pass well with Molly Kmita giving strong support where her sister was playing in the first half.  Molly was instrumental in a move that saw Charlotte Dean’s low drive deflect off the Bushey Rangers defender confusing the keeper, who could not stop the ball crossing the line, despite getting hands to the ball.

As the both teams began to tire, Spurs played some possession football that created openings and Katie Mills took advantage of some space to drill in number five and open her Spurs account.

Spurs defended reasonably well with Shianne making some crucial recoveries to hold the Bushey Rangers in check.  Ayse and Taylor were effecting their usual midfield role in stemming the attacks from Bushey and also assisting in the Spurs attack.

Spurs came away victors, but it wasn’t a great performance on a pitch did not help their game.

The weather gave intermittent sunlight but it was mainly overcast with a very low humidity.

Spurs Ladies U12 were without Daisy O'Sullivan - their goalkeeper - and the first half spell in goal was taken by Taylor O’Leary.  Renata Inniss, Hannah Lyons and Whitney Tango egged on their team-mates from the bench.

Georgia Bruce opened the scoring after two minutes from an attempted save by the Belles goalkeeper from a shot by Ayse Mustafa.  Three minutes later, Ayse increased the tally to 2-0.

A lean spell followed for the next 15 minutes when substitutions saw Hannah and Renata take to the field.  Two goals in five minutes by Renata took the score to 4-0.  Taylor managed to touch the ball once in the last five minutes of the first half before the referee blew the whistle for the end of the period.

Ayse took on the goal keeping role for Spurs Ladies in the second half and Whitney joined in the line up at kick off.

Renata lobbed the Belles keeper after two minutes into the second half and a minute later, Whitney took a long range shot from outside the penalty area to extend Spurs lead to 6-0.

Spurs were having 90% of the play in the Belles half and the pressure paid off, as in the 25th and 28th minute, Whitney and Taylor sealed victory for Spurs by 8-0.

The odd challenge was brought to a halt each time by Shianne St. Louis, who made sure that Spurs kept a clean sheet.  Nikki Hunnable had another good game by battling down the wing and making some good crosses into the penalty area in both halves of the game.
