The girls of THLFC Under-15 Blues have picked up their form in the
last few games and this match away to Harvesters was no exception.
The team started with a great deal of enthusiasm and kept the
first half score at 0-0 with some very good defending from the back
four.
In the second half the girls went 1-0 down, but within a few
minutes Eleanda Taladianou made a great run through the centre and
scored to level at 1-1, although shortly after Harvesters scored
again to restore their lead.
Spurs kept defending well and the midfield was making some good
passes to get the ball into the home penalty area, but they just
could not get the ball into the net. Then Harvesters scored
again making the score 3-1, but Spurs were determined to get
something out of the game. Eleanda scored again in what was an
action replay of her first and shortly after the striker completed
her hat trick.
In the last seconds of the game there was a chance of a winner,
but Ruby Marlow hit her shot just over the bar and the game finished
3-3.
